Three years ago Capcom announced Resident Evil 4 with its release date as '200X'. Today we completed the equation... Go to Capcom's Biohazard page (link), and click on the Biohazard 4 link on the bottom right. Then in the upper right of the Biohazard page a small password box will appear. Type in the the word 'scott' and the secret is unveiled: 2004 baby! End of Quote Rainbow Six 3 coming to Cube!!!! QUOTE After what seems the longest time, Ubisoft have finally confirmed that their first person shooter will make its way to the GameCube: Click on! It's been about a year since we really heard about anything Rainbow Six 3 related -at least as far as the Cube is concerned. I for one could not see it happening on our purple joy-machine. After all, it's perhaps not a game that you would belive would suit the Cubes image. Happily however, Ubisoft recently confirmed that the game will be making its way to your GameCube sometime later this year. The game is currently in the "planning stages" for the machine so we can perhaps expect a release towards Christmas-time this year. Rainbow Six 3 is based on the novel "Rainbow Six" by Tom Clancy End of Quote There is even a New Super Monkey Ball game coming out called Super Monkey Ball 3:Bannana Crazy and will be LAN So Thats Resi 4 (cant wait) Rainbow Six 3 (New Features?) and SMunk-eB3 (cool)
That is definetly good news, espicially RE4, why did I have the beliefe that this was an exclusive game? As for RS3, can't really comment, I don't much like this series, even tho 1 was quite good. I guess I could buy it and play it with a single char again hahah
LAN? Is a Network expansion even available for the Gamcube yet? Hasn't exactly taken off if there is...
Hell Yeah! This is where Nintendo is going for the Cube rather than 100% net support. Mario Kart DD, 1080, KAR are all currently LAN enabled and SuperMonkeyBall3, Mario Tennis and Game Zero will be. All you need to do is grab a simple cable and with Mario Kart in this example jack link it to the Broadband adpator and away you go. I have to say playing Mario Kart with 8 players was amazing. I wish i could try it with 16... One day i will. Also All LAN games can be sent online with Warpipe which works incredably well. LAN play kicks ass. Try it out Talking of Game Zero, I just found out that it is being developed by a Nintendo owned company Zoonami. And what is more exciting is that the Project Lead from Rare who made Golden Eye and Perfect Dark is on board!!!) Word on the Street is that this is going to be a FPS in light of that game.) No it wont be called Perfect Dark Zero (That will be an Xbox game) but when you consider that all of the coders and artists extc bar none have left Rare after making perfect dark, Zero has the chance of being far less than standard. Game Zero will be the one to watch) That must be why Nintendo sold Rare to Microsoft so all those people that whine at their loss, lsiten Nintendo sold a name to microsft knowing that all the decent people had left. Good decision i feel. I havn't played RS3 before but my xbox totting mate says its good (if just the PC version). Sounds interesting tho. Resident 4 is exclusive to Cube along with a load of amazing other Resi titles and all the multiformat ones. Capcom have spoken of how they intend to support the cube greatly. (I cant wait for Killer 7, Dead Phoenix, RE4) So a Resi in 3d and that lark. Cant wait
