Well, basicly I think they will release a new console _after_ they see what Sony and MS come out with. Or maybe they will stick with GC for a while longer, cos what was said about the relase of next gen is pretty correct, the current gen systems are so powerful that I am not sure what the point of releasing a new one would be. Especially since the only thing that can be upgraded is the graphics and lets face it, that doesn't make the games. (and GC already has brilliant graphics anyway) As for what comes to this moronic comment: I have only one thing to say, people who are FORMER anything should really keep their mouth shut about the FUTURE of companies. Basicly I don't think one should really think of these comments much, most likely just blowing up a smoke screen to confuse the rivals.
i wish nintendo would start something completely different and MAKE A FUSS ABOUT IT! Every other company does it for crap games ans the ninty does not. They should be the first out with the most powerful and some killer launhces. Hell Pilot Wings, Mario 128, adn Too hUman on Release? Thatd b amazin!
Well if Mr. Yamauchi was serious about what he said, and the stuff i have seen for the DS. Nintendo is screwed. Im dead serious. Lets just hope they go making games for the right people. CoughmightymircosoftCough I really want mario party on my xbox.
Ummm Reality Check Killswitch: Mario is a more poular franchise than any other brand around. If Xbox could even get one mario game on it then Microsoft would pay millions to get it. Party Games Kick ass no end. Especially Mario Party. If you and 3 friends play mario party you'd understand that it is more of a serious game than you seem to think. It does not really get boring whereas say Halo does. Osrry Guys, even tho the idea of a ninty game on xbox sounds cool it will never ever happen because Ninty have said: "They Day we come out of the Hardware Business is the day we quit the business completely" Which means it would never happen. Baring in mind practically nothing has been said about the DS it is unrealistic to dismiss the DS. For all we know it could easily beat the living shite out of the PSP and the (Why bother)N-Gage 2. Truth is Mario is massive. Id rather play Mario 64 (N64) than any other platformer ever made. Besides the xbox needs more variety than more crappy fps and racers. Just because the cube is really the only console that allows you to play multiplayer mayhem at its best (baring online).
Yes, the N5 is in the works, according to the latest info. Not much info on it tho, PPC and ATi for now. Won't be shown at E3 tho, they will concentrate on DS there.
