HMMMMMMM. Interesting move by the big N. Dont like the sound of the double screen. Seems a bit pointless IMO, also thats alot of R.E.M for a hand held. I will save my opinion untill I see the actual machine and some game footage. A bold move and no mistake, wether its the right move will have to be seen.

Damn i was wrong about the gaming wristwatch!

Well it seems that it might be as powerful as the Cube with a handheld one screen showing the game with the other as a stats screen.

If however it is just a GBA with a screen for info then i wont buy it. If the Graphics story is true then this could be the essential handheld.

Thing is, if a game looks as nice as most Gamecube games do, I want to see them on my 32" Widescreen TV. Not on a tiny screen that I need to squint to see ;)
  5. Don't really know what to think, portables are not my thing,
they are too easy to break... like my infamous GameBoy
    incident years ago :p
I would really have to see this before I make up my mind tho,
seems an interesting idea, tho the 2 screen thing is kinda like
watching TV while online (like I am now), can't really do either
    well *lol*

I really cant comment much on it until we see some more details. But i would rather buy this (perhaps) over a rubbish N-gage or the PSP with its 1 and a half(awfull) hour battery span!

1½ hour life-span? I'm assuming they'll update that with a decent lithium battery...

Apparently it will be almost imposasible for Sony to improve the Battery life more because they will use mini cds and the optical drive drains heavily on the Bat. That is why Nintey are using Carts instead. Also If it is going to do loads of different things then its life is going to drop away. The DS on the other hand is focused to gaming with an unofficial reported battery life of 15 Hours with a two hour recharge time. I think that Sony is too keen on cramming everything in to one device. It just makes things complicated. The N-gage is a good example a mobile that plays games but how the hell do you make a phone cal?
