Lylat wars? That game, in my opinion, is the most overrated N64 next to Mario. I mean come on it was just plain AWFUL!!!! (IMO)

How about star fox adventures for GC, whats that like?

Depressed: It was 3d for christ sakes! games like that had never been invenvted till then. At the time it was ground breaking.

As for SFA on Cube Id say it is great and looks astonishingly fresh. Possibly one of the most Under-rated games around. Very very good.

Best star wars game on the 64? i havnt played rouge squadron but people say that was the best. Shadows of the empire looked kinda odd, and episode 1 racer looked a bit crappy.

3D games had been done donkeys years before Lylat wars...Elite anyone? Squadrons the better out of the 2

    ^^^^^^^*Thumbs up*

And Starfox Adventures was a Zelda rip off set in space. It was also incredibly boring.

A Zelda Rip off but is that in any way a bad thing?

I did not mean the first 3D game ever made, i meant of its type. Mario 64 was the first brilliant game to show this the restr were shod.

My apologies, but the words "Mario", "64" and "Brilliant" don't belong in the same sentence.

yeah, one of the first platformers i think, where there weren't any boundries. You could go everywhere around the map thing-a-ma-jigg looking for new quests and hidden doors, something that hadn't (really) been achieved before. (Super Mario 64)

It's just a shame it was so damn dull.
  11. Borris New Member

i though it was the most entertaining platformer ever made!

Especially if u got all 120 stars and met up with Yoshi on the roof
  12. Killswitch New Member

120! aw man im stuck on 21.. *sniff*
  13. Borris New Member

dude you've gotta get to about 70 at least. Then you get a kick arse battle
  14. Depressed New Member

Pfft, JakII SO kicks Mario64's ass!
  15. Killswitch New Member

jak2 happens to be 7 years newer...
  16. insert_name New Member

    That's besides the point... <_<
  17. Borris New Member

JakII is Mario 64 ripped off. The Olden goldie beats it in all departments
  18. Killswitch New Member

Although i see what you mean, I prefer Goldeneye for the 64 more than Agent Under Fire for the PS2

Huge levels, huge world, great storyline, dark undertones (death to candy coated Platformers!), guns, vehicles and rock hard difficulty level.

Well I can count four things on that list that make me prefer Jak II to Mario.

The only thing Mario 64 did not have was guns

The only thing Jakk 2 does not have is Fun
